This comes a little late, too. But I wanted to say, it's just like that. Some times we have smaller, some times bigger issues. While the smaller ones might get in the way of making music, the bigger ones can totally block you for a long period of time. I can say it from my own experience: for four years we've been battling with infertility with my husband, and the major part of that I've been incapable of keeping an interest writing anything. Sorrow, depression, hospital... Well, anything is not totally correct, I have had one single text which I haven't been able to finish - and it is about infertility. Now I realize it was too soon to start writing about that subject, maybe the time comes later when I can see the big picture. But now I'm writing again! At some point I thought I wouldn't ever...
